Charles Grimes
Of Cousel
Charles (“Chuck”) Grimes is Of Counsel to Patrick Doerr, where he focuses on corporate and intellectual property matters across industries on a global scale. With extensive experience in all aspects of IP law, he has managed global trademark portfolios for leading consumer products companies and advised a wide range of inventors, artists, musicians, authors, designers, and other creative professionals.
Chuck has been involved in significant patent and trademark litigations, including developing and executing a high-profile strategy to protect the trademarks of the world’s largest premium cigar manufacturer from counterfeiting. That effort brought together investigators, law enforcement, and undercover operatives, resulting in raids, seizures worth tens of millions of dollars, and the conviction of key offenders.
